Important Service & Support Announcement/Update

Hi all,

I wanted to give everyone a heads-up that there may be periods of downtime, service interruptions, or delays in responding to support tickets over the coming weeks and months.

As some long time customers know, I’m currently dealing with ongoing health issues resulting from a serious road accident last year, where I was very nearly killed by two drunk drivers who were racing. I’m currently on some fairly strong pain medication, have been in and out of hospital, and have some major surgery coming up.

Because of this, there will unfortunately be times when I’m away from the keyboard or unable to deal with things as quickly as I normally would. This may result in a backlog of support tickets, slower response times, or issues taking longer than usual to resolve.

There is also a possibility that, if a network or service-related issue occurs while I’m unavailable, some services could experience an extended interruption before I’m able to get online and address the problem. This is obviously not something I want to happen, but I want to be upfront with everyone so that, should you log in and find that something has been unavailable for a longer period than usual, you understand the circumstances behind it.

If an issue does occur while I’m away, I will address it as soon as I’m physically able to return and get everything back up and running. I will also make sure that customers affected by any significant service interruption are appropriately compensated for the downtime.

I’ll continue doing everything I can to keep the services running normally and minimise any disruption. If you do experience an issue or delay, I genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding while I deal with everything.

Please also avoid submitting multiple tickets for the same issue where possible, as this can make it more difficult to work through any backlog.

Thank you to everyone for your patience, understanding and continued support. It genuinely means a lot.

Regards,
Admin / SBS
